Singapore Film Commission
On January 1, 2003, SFC became part of the Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore. In 2008, SFC launched its New Feature Film Fund to support talented filmmakers working in various genres. SFC also provides an additional funding for local advertising and promotion projects. Since its establishment, SFC has supported production of hundreds of films including “Blood Ties” (2009), “4:30” (2005), “Perth” (2004) and “Chicken Rice War” (2000). Singapore Film Commission supports local film-related events such as Singapore International Film Festival, The Substation's Moving Images program and the Singapore Short Cuts series at National Museum of Singapore.
