Irish Film Board Irish Film Board (IFB) (Irish: Bord Scannan na hEireann) is an Ireland's national film agency that supports and promotes the Irish film industry and represents country as a location for international film production. IFB provides investments for the development, production and release of Irish films. In 2008 - 2009, Irish films have received more than 100 awards at major international film festivals. In 2009, IFB had a budget of around $29 million. The Film Commission arm of IFB attracts direct inward investment by assisting international producers with their needs while on location in Ireland. The Location Services Unit provides comprehensive information about all aspects of filming in Ireland, from tax incentives to locations, casting, crews, equipment and facilities.
