Northwest Vision and Media Northwest Vision and Media is a British film agency for the northwest region of England. Established in 2002, the agency is responsible for film, TV, radio, digital, games, creative services, music and publishing sectors. Northwest Vision and Media formed after a merger between Northwest Vision and leading media skills and training provider, Media Training North West. NVM is the Regional Cluster Organization supported by the Northwest Regional Development Agency, as well as the Northwest's Screen Agency, a member of Screen England, and partner with UK Film Council. NVM is funded by the UK Film Council, The Northwest Regional Development Agency, European Regional Development Funds, Skillset, local, city and council authorities across the region. Northwest Vision and Media provides film and TV makers, and media professionals, with a range of services that include: - Advice and tips on working in the industry - Facilities database listing around 800 pre and post production facilities - Free liaison service for all production enquiries - Production, trade and investment advice and support - Training and access to careers advisers - Crew database showcasing over 1,000 crew members - Locations database - Marketing support and advice NVM offers companies a wide range of initiatives to help achieve business growth and development. These include: - Grants and investments - Business and product development, as well as developing and sustaining international strategies - Finding new talents and short-term 'plug-in' placements - Management seminars - Business to business partnerships - Workshop programs tailored to developing technical, personal, professional and business skills Northwest Vision and Media is a private company with a team of 48, spread throughout the England's Northwest, with offices in Salford Quays, Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire and Liverpool.
